PING VIP Fitting Day

A great turn out for our PING VIP Fitting day and for those of you that attended had a great experience with Steve from PING.

If you happened to miss the event but still wish to trial from Pin or even Callaway, we have the studio with various drivers, woods, hybrids and irons for you to trial in our state of the art golf studio, you can even take them for a test run on the course!

TPI

Last Friday I hosted my first Ladies TPI Screening clinic.

Here we look at a 16 part screen analysis and from the results, it gives a clear a body-swing connection identifying swing characteristics you may suffer within the golf swing.

There’s no one way to swing a golf club, there is infinite number of ways to swing a golf club and it’s based on what you can physically do!

Competition news

Pro's Day - Sunday 15th September

This Sunday sees the turn of my Pro’s day and your support is very much appreciated. I’d quite like to run a raffle so if you have anything you can possibly bring on the day that would be greatly received.

There will be a BBQ at halfway serving bacon sandwiches in the morning and burgers from lunchtime at £2.50 with all proceedings going to the club. Please use the facility as we are hoping to raise money both for the club and for the junior section from the raffle.

Plenty challenges on offering with nearest the pin, longest drive and the optional PROS CHARITY CHALLENGE. You could win a brand-new EPIC FLASH driver. Be sure to sign up in the pro shop before your round.

Battle of the irons

Before we pit these two beauties against one another, have a think about how good your bad shots are? It's a bit of an oxymoron, but are they disastrous and leading to big scores or are they less penal and still go somewhere around the green?

Red corner - Titleist T300 irons

If your bad shots really are bad then it's definitely worth looking at a game-improvement iron, like the T300 from Titleist.
